Al Jazeera sports channels in India

Hi Sat gurus..

I am from Mumbai. I was in middle east recently and had purchased al-jazeera sports package and was viewing all 8 sports channels using irdeto receiver and 4 feet Ku band dish on Nilesat, Arabsat, Hotbird.

Now I am in Mumbai and wish to set up satellite tv to make use of this package. I have bought the receiver along with me.
Kindly let me know which satellites (Nilesat101/102, Badr6, Atlantic Bird 4A ) are available on Ku band dish?
Is reception from these satellites available in Mumbai?
What min size of dish is required to get these channels?

I think that you should have sold it while you were in the ME.
Check the footprints of Nilesat in Lyngsat and you will understand why.

you mean there is absolutely no hopes of getting the signals on C band dish? I think Atlantic bird 4A is on slight coveing west coast of india..

Well, in this case why don't you check it's footprint and find out for yourself?
With this hobby, you learn a lot when you look for info by yourself.

hi mumbai dude,

Nilesat signals come in Mumbai you need 8 feet Offset dish to get the sat there.

Hi, Upto 120Cm Ku dish available in mumbai at grant road, also installation & tuning for receiving Arabsat channels, Hotbird/Nilesat out of range. regards nomail@nomail.com

Yes ku dish antenna more than 4 ft size is not easily avilable.
