Is Ren Tv Encrypted on Yamal 202

Hi friends,

The data which I am getting on www.lyngsat.com/tracker/yamal202.html or other sites shows that Ren is FTA channel.

But I have seen a India satellite magzine which shows Ren is a Encrypted channel please help me....

Dear......... REN Tv is absolutely free on yamal 202@49 E.
The details are as follows;
3706L-15550
3960L-8570
3982L-4285

All above transponders are showing Ren tv on the same satellite (i.e. yamal 202@49E)

NOTE ::::::::::: Right now, i am watching all the above transponders on my six feet dish anteena with help of teflon which is inserted in the mouth of feedhorn.

sidharth u do one thing, please write which satellites are recving roght now on your six feet anteena, then i'll give u the suggestions.......

HI Imran,
Thanks friend, Presently my dish is tuned to Asiasat2.
I have found the location of Intelsat 12(Ku band) I think yamal 202 is near to that.
I have purchased a FeedHorn Specially designed for Sun/Udya Tv on NSS 703 which is also in Circular polarity let me try this friday.
Hopefully I will be able to receive Yamal.Please share me Lnb position photo if you can so that I will set my lnb in same position.
1 more thing imran in the polarity section in receiver what I should set Vertical/or Horizontal.

and if you remove Teflon piece from your feedhorn what happens signal becomes week or complete signal goes....

Please reply frinend...

Bro, If you remove Teflon, You wont able to get the signal. At the point of new LNB, Pls mesure F/D Ratio properly to gain high signal.

help me out : can Ren tv ( yamal 202 at 49.0 E) be received with 90 cm ku band dish? also do i need to turn my dish to the west and if yes how much. what is the elevation ( to receive) compared to the one for nss 6 receiving the dish tv. there is a building on the west side of my house which is taller and i think it could block the signals of many satellites including that of yamal 202.

Bro first a fall a big NO to KU band dish. Yamal 202 ren tv is on C-Band . Submit your Lat & Log , we will provide you AZ & EL, You must tune it towards SouthWest.

i am in suburban area close to Bangalore. If one cannot receive c band signals of yamal 202 through 90 cm ku band dish, how is it possible to receive c band signals of other satellites (as some members have claimed in other forums to be receiving asiasat 3s signals on 90cm dish)

Its ok bro, its a dual lnb c and ku, I am talking about the signal carring on ren tv. Its an C-Band. If you have a feedhorn and lnb, then its ok. Use bigger dish to gain all the Tps.

When we removed teflon then the signal quality decreases.(for eg. if the signal quality is 60% then it goes down to 20%).
there is no need to set H or V direction in c band.

Friends,please remember that in order to receive ren tv, the best and the long lasting way is to receive it in c band and for proper reception you need a very good
quality dish,preferably a solid dish of 8 feet.
