You may be thinking why not buy a new one "they are cheap enough"

but hey i,m a great believer in recycling and i,m sure someone has a

dish "hanging" around thats not in use.

My System: 1.2M & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.5m Gibertini on a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor. Dreambox 7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

Ha ha, yes I do have a few dish`s

I do have a 1m LH dish complete with polar mount and lnb, no actuator though.

I don't want anything for it, just a donation to the forum would be good.

How much do you think is fair rolf?

LOL, well Dave is a man of means, 15th in line to the throne I believe, but can't really help on the amount.

PS. Looked around for that catalogue and I think I was a tad enthusiastic on my last clearout, will see if I can get another.

My System: 90cm channel master, jaeger 1224 ,vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, setanta on 60cm minidish

an actuator is what a polar mount uses to move the dish around the arc, this is a 36volt motor and is better for large dishes than diseqc motors

yes but i wouldn't advise you use one on a 1.2m dish, dishes up to 1m will be fine on one though

I've been looking for a relatively cheap largish dish on Ebay for some time. In the end I've bought a new 1.1m ***** dish on Ebay (inc. LNB) for £60. Its actually something like 1.16m vertical, so your approaching 1.2m land for little money. Delivery was included in that price which overcomes the issue of transporting a used dish.

Is a***t a dirty word in these parts? I have no personal interest in any trader/brand. Just giving an innocent tipoff !

The dish is worth no more than you paid for it, they are not very good quality, just a cheap rebranded far East import, so not really particularly good value.

The vertical measurement is irrelevant, it is the width of the dish which indicates the size.

We have nothing against that shop, but they don't pay to advertise here and seeing as they now brand all of their OEM products with their name, it is the only way we can stop the free adverts.
