Silence in the Library A Stephen Moffat script, so it was bound to be captivating. This story brings a part of the Doctors history that hasn't as yet happened. Read what children thought of the first part _http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/episodes/?episode=s4_08&action=fearfactor

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100 | Agree absolutely! An extremely well crafted episode with a proper cliff-hanger ending. I get a bit fed up with all the single episode stories which don't leave any time for proper characterisation, what with all the running around and need for rapid plot developments. They could learn a thing or two from the classic series IMHO! A good development for the future is that Stephen Moffat is to become the new Executive Producer after Russell Davies leaves. Hopefully he won't allow nonsenses such as 1960s Bedford trucks in a story supposedly set 5,000,000 years in the future. I hold out great hopes that the nagging "Yes, but..." feeling I get from the current series will disappear.

| Not quite the best (Blink did it in one), but possibly the best two parter, though in my opinion there was enough material to string it out to three episodes, to get the full story out without rushing. | ||
