Dr Who companions

With everyones favourite time lord back on our screens, here a chance to vote for the best companion to the Doctor. Se will it be an early companion, or one of the 80's babes, or will Billie Piper score a big hit with the modern audience as Rose??

I voted for Romana, there were of course 2 of them and I meant the second one .

Dr Who's female assistants are there to satisfy the fantacies of the dads (lol).

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100

Despite what I said in another posting about the girls as this about COMPANIONS I have voted for the Brigadier. I think I am right in saying that Nick Courtney acted with more Doctors, usually as the Brig, than anyone else. Only Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston (so far!) have escaped.

Perhaps a poll about female only comapnions is called for? I'll think about it when I get home next week if noone else has done it. At the moment I'm stuck with a 33K dialup for fun.

Talk about the end justifying the means, you pervert (not wishing I'd thought of it, of course )

Hi Fellow Whovians,
I must admit , I nearly voted for Leela , but after seing CH's picture of Jo , decided that the Pertwee era was better (Honest guys !!).
Also can anyone tell me what episode that picture was from !!!
Let's see how the polls go now there's a bit more interest for the "dads".

Enjoy Yourselves,
Old Geezer

Alas, not an episode, but part of a photo shoot for a girly mag (Girls Illustrated) in the 70's. She never really lived it down, much like Benny Hill, we are all poorer for it.

For a colour version of the photo see this posting http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/...ad.php?t=38714 and then follow the link for some more - some of which are unsuitable for posting here.

(That should start a rush...)
