noob's question

Hello everybody , i am a noob in satellites , and a have a question about the s*ca keys :
When i look in the pages who gives s*ca key i have keys like this :
XXXX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX Or in my receiver i must put the keys like this :
XXXXXX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX , in the first numbers they are 6 places not 4 like in the keys who are in the pages , please help me .
