Wink Nilesat in north east england

Hello,
I am looking for some help on wether it is possible to pick up nilesat in north east england and if so what size dish and approx dish costs to enable me to do this.

Forget it - the horizontal polarity channels will require a massive dish - probably over 3m!

My System: channel master 1.2m dish technomate 6900,,and invacom 0.3 quad lnb satlook micro

picking verticals up on a 1.2 in south yorkshire from teatime on like analogue says horizontals are impossible

My System: Fortec fs-4700 satellite reciever with 180cm dish, with an old Sky box,Technomate 1000d super.

iam in south of england(near portsmouth) with 1.8m dish and i have nothing from nilesat, you will be lucky to pick up anything with 3m dish.

There must be something seriously wrong with your setup if you get nothing from Nilesat at all. ( I would have thought). As The verticals are easily achievable not too far down the coast in Brighton, on a dish half that size.

Is it one of those bloody awful Fortec 1.8m dishes that Maplins sell by any chance??

My System: Dreambox 7020, DM800, Dm600,DM500,1.2 channel master motorized, 2.4mtr fortecstar

I have a 2.4mtr fortecstar from maplins & I can pick up all transponders on 7 west sweet as a nut
