You arent going to get Showtime on a 1.2m dish in Staffordshire...

Id have said nearer 2.4m for the 7W horizontals in Staffs - especially if you are in the northern part of the county (know it well - Im a Cannock lad!)

Showtime is encrypted in Irdeto, last time I checked.
Take a good look at your card (both sides) and see if there is any engraving or printing to show encryption system used.
I would say that you will need an Irdeto CAM, leave on one of the Showtime channels for a while until it gets it's activation.
If this doesn't help, then shutdown the receiver, pull the power plug out, insert Irdeto CAM with the smartcard having chip facing up, power the receiver and see what happens.

Send the cam back - you need an Irdeto one.

Not that it really matters - with no H polarity signals you cant watch Showtime anyway.
