Jaagran has launched out of nowhere onto 838. This is currently a very part time channel - a couple of hours from 0200 uk time sharing time with one of the Zee channels.

Its not known at the moment if this is in preparation for a full launch of Zee Jaagran or if its a holding channel for another operator.

Several new part time test channels started on the Zee transponder last week. This is how they are reported to be operating:

55301 broadcasts 1am - 3am and timeshares with Zee TV
55306 broadcasts 2.30am - 4.30am and timeshares with Zee Cinema
55311 broadcasts 1am - 3am and timeshares with Zee Music
55316 broadcasts 12.30am - 2.30am and timeshares with Zee Punjabi
55321 broadcasts 12am - 2am and timeshares with Zee Gujarati
55322 broadcasts 2am - 4am and also timeshares with Zee Gujarati

According to Biz Asia, Zee Gujurati is to be closed in India as its making losses. That means it has to be under threat here as well.

Rock-on TV was added back to epg 260 today - but with the same half dozen programmes looping round as before Christmas. As its now on a Sky tp, it HAS to be a holding channel for a new Sky service.

What is believed to be a Sci Fi HD test is reported to have epg data suggesting a launch is imminent.

Slovakian based Radio Tatras International closed over the weekend. This was due to a ruling by the Slovak broadcast authorities that stations based in the country had to broadcast in Slovakian.......

The station has fallen silent so they will almost certainly be removed from the epg in the next couple of days.

SciFi HD will launch onto epg 214 today for its full service launch this evening.

Crime & Investigation Network +1 starts BARB reporting on Monday 23rd February so that one can be pencilled in for a launch.

On epg 823 jazeerachildren is reported to have ceased operating on 28E. A looped message is saying the channel is now only available on Hotbird, Nilesat and BADR 6. Presumably they have sold their slot onto another channel.
