My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Five, Fiver / +1 , Five USA / +1, Sky 3, Setanta Sports News. Plus C5 on a sky box.

If its not been used for a while it will have missed its stay alive signals and wont be active anyway, so reconnect your sky box put the card in and leave it a few days.

You will need a Dragon / Trex type cam to read the card in the TM.

The usual default is 11720H not 11788V!

My System: Sky Freesat in UK, Astra 1 ana/dig in UK using Technomate -5000 DAPCI, Astra 2 South Beam and Eurobird in Spain.

Don't follow you Analoguesat. What is this 11.720? Sky box default is 11.788.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I think the main alternative default channels are 12441v and 12207H http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellit...-overseas.html

The default is 11.788, that is what skyboxes revert to automatically. Anything else has to programmed in and cannot be described as default surely. I use 12.129 in Spain, as 11.788 gets nothing.

No - if the box gets the merest sniff of the north beam it will immediately revert

Well I take your point, but once programmed, it is then the default transponder (unless it changes back), plus that is what it is called in the digibox menu.

Most boxes revert back to 11.778(usually after power off then on again) but there were a couple or so that would remember the frequency you input manually,I think the panasonic t-30 was one.
Strange that over here also the 11.778 has been quite weak during the day lately, especially Paphos

Unfortunately it will soon no longer be working due to the card swap, but then most of the channels on the card will be free anyway...

My System: PrimeFocus 180cm (Astra 2D), MABO 115x128 (80E - 30W) , Kathrein ufs910, Amstrad DRX400 SKY Digibox+ Freesat card.

Guys need your advice please

I am having FFS card but unfortunately my amstrad digibox broke down. Card hasn't been used for a couple of months now but I inserted it in my Kathrein linux (Enigma2) box and noticed that only Setanta News started showing although Fiver, Five USA, SKY3 are black. Any ideas why only Setanta News goes well but the others don't?

Will Enigma2 box reactivate my card?

Thanks in advance for replies.

Leave it overnight switched on and on Astra 28.2 and hopefully the card will update.
