Disappearing Music Channels?

Has anyone else found that "The Vault" and some other channels are now evermore pixalating or not being received at all?
This applies to the "Brit Hits" channel as well>
Are they all on a weaker transpnder? Have they reduced power/increased compression?
Any ideas anyone?
I'm in the UK and always received them fine in the past. Other channels seem ok.

No, but have got a wireless router from Tiscali recently?
I will try with it switched off.
Why would it interfere?

Because interference from it is at the same Intermediate Frequency that the lnb drops down to the receiver on the transponder used by The Vault

I've switched my wireless router off and sure enough "Brit Hits" comes through and is fine. "Chart tv" and "The Vault" are still pixilated but at least there's a signal.
I see that the router offers me a choice of radio channels 1 to 13.
It's curently set at 11 which is the default and what Tiscali instructed me to do.
If I change the channel will this stop the tv interference?
What are the disadvantages of using another channel?
Are there any other ways to prevent this interference?

Try it and see.
None, unless others in the neighbourhood are using the same frequency
Putting the base station in another room

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

Yep. I've tried other channels and also 'auto channel' and only occasional pixalation on Brit Hits. Others on and off, but better.
Thanks for your help

If you can relocate the hub move it a few feet from the satellite receiver. It may not need to be moved very far

Hub is already in another room and upstairs while the receiver is downstairs.
I spoke too soon as well, as I had no signal later last night and this morning still the same!
Why do people waste money in broadcasting a channel which can't be seen properly?
