My System: Technomate 6800 HD. Motorised 88 cm dish Installed by Robbo Mac computers |
A couple of friends have asked me, assuming that as I have a big dish I will know, why their Sky box goes to the screen message: 'Your box will is about to go into standby'. To stop it press etc.' This causes stoppage of recordings they are making whilst not watching. Said I would ask here how to prevent this. TIA

Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser. | It shouldn't stop recordings, it is an energy saving function and can be switched off in the Services menu, System Setup, Sky+ Setup, Auto Standby, turn to off.

I think its set at 4 hours without a remote button press during the day, 2 hours overnight
