My System: sky plus, wireless broadband
Question multiroom novice

Prob a really simple question to answer, have recently got sky+ but want normal sky in another room. have spare box and have put cable in. Would prefer not to pay 50 quid to get hooked up if i can do it myself. Can anyone tell me what i need to do this, how to do it, or should i just put my hand in my pocket and pay to have it done?

Welcome to sats uk,

Cable up from a spare port on the LNb to the digibox. Fit an 'F' type connector onto either ends and fire up the box. Connect to TV via a scart cable. FTA channels received or options are to have a multi-room package of which will cost. In this case the box would need to connect to an operational telephone line.

The thing on the end of the arm sticking out of the dish. You need one with 4 connectors on it- a Sky Quad LNB.
