Latest Sky Digi Box

Anyone know what the latest and best sky digi box is? i think my one in the bedroom is playing up (Pace 2600C1) and keeps on saying no signal found etc.

also, anyone know if its possible to connect a sky hd digibox up inplace of a standard sky unit? i know i'd need extra subscription to record etc, but i just would like to connect the tv up via HDMI instead of scart

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I tend to use the Thompson boxes, as that's what my wholesaler normally stocks, but they are all pretty reliable.

Yes you could use a Sky HD receiver, but they are a little thin on the ground at the moment.
