Getting sky abroad

Hello,
I setup my 1.1m dish in Prague with a technomate 5400.

Unfortunately I cant get astra 2d channels as I think I need a 1.8m dish so cant watch eastenders

I get astra 2a and eurobird. I cant point my dish to any other satelites due to my location, (I am on the wrong side in the appartment block)

MY question is:

- Could I somehow get a sky card to work in my technomate box? to get the channels on astra 2a.

Thanks

You only had to search the forum for your answer

Technomate 5400 CI+ USB... + Skycard

I did and I saw this thread but there wasn't enough information e.g. with the Diablo card, has it been tested to work? and I heard it needs updating in a normal sky box.

With all due respect that was not the question, the answer to your original question is Yes, but there are conditions which you have already mentioned. I would wait until the Sky card swap is concluded as I suspect the functionality people currently enjoy will disappear completely.
