Spain - Sky+ How to opt Out & Pay Sky Direct

We currently have an "illegal" card in our skyplus box. I now want to get the contract from Sky themselves giving a UK address and UK bank account. However, as our sky card paid by us to a third party here in Spain is linked to the box, if I give the box details to Sky when signing up (saying for example that I bought it on Ebay) will Sky turn around and say they can´t do it as the skybox is already in use by another party? Our original supplier seems to have vanished but the monthly payment still goes out.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Shouldn't present a problem, you can marry multiple cards to a single box, but not vice versa. In any case, if you are still using a yellow house card in your digibox, it will need to be replaced in the near future, so if your company isn't available, you will end up with no Sky.

That is a relief. And can I ask Sky for a second free card for our spare room. Happy with just freeview channels for this.

That's a different part of the Sky Empire!

There is a one of charge of Ł20 for a FreesatfromSky Card and the contact number (UK, of course!) is 08442 410 595

Yep, no problem with pairing up a new subs card with your sky+ box. Just order up a freesat card for the other digibox using a uk address.

So even though I would be paying for a full contract, they would still charge me 20 GBP for an extra card?
