Panasonic tu-dsb50 digibox retuning

I am using this box for freeviewing channels but put in an old sky card which has now erased/moved the freeview channels being received(e.g. channel 101 was BBC1,102 was BBC2,103 was ITV).How can I reset/retune the digibox to return to viewing the freeview channels I had before trying to use the old sky card? .

My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s

Hi,

Try a forced update. Unplug the receiver, power it back up whilst holding the back up button. These channels should be listed on the EPG without the use of a viewing card, except the ftv channels, Five & family, Ch4+1 and Sky 3.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

You shouldn't need to do a forced software update, just taking the card out and disconnecting/reconnecting the digibox at the mains should restore what you had originally. What were you hoping to achieve with the old card?

Removing card and disconnecting/ reconnecting power to digibox has worked perfectly and restored the original channels. I was trying to see if I could get extra Irish channels too(RTE 1, RTE 2, TV 3 and TG 4 0 but will do without them rather than subscribing to Sky.
Thanks to alll for such prompt assistance

My System: Freeview

Am I correct in thinking that RTE is available free in the Republic of Ireland if you have a Sky dish. As I live in Northern Irleand and was looking to get the RTE channels digitally but was advised one way of doing was to get a dish and/or card in the Republic and bring up North. Although i may have to pay Sky subscriptions for the minimum period I could live with that. Can anyone advise me if this is correct

Thanks
