Didn't think Sky was available in Europe

Found this German site that sells Sky throughout Europe.

Interesting link on the left for online Sky activation.

Didn't think this could be done reading other posts here - they also sell a phone adaptor for PPV events from your location in Europe.

Again didn't think this was possible.

Does Sky accept euros ????????


( Oh forgot Irish Republic uses euros).


Well European money must add a tidy sum to the Sky subscription base.

If, as these sites say, you pay direct to Sky using your credit card then they know your address.

Shame they make it difficult for individuals to subscribe from abroad but dealers (who take commission) seem to have it easy.

I use a foreign credit card and a UK address for my Sky sub. Bar the occasional nuking of the monthly debit due to Sky having inane systems, it's been fine for ..... oooh 5 years

i dont mind donating 30 euros a month to sky,its the only way at the moment that i know of,that i can watch some of the channels on 28east.that i like.as for sky turning a blind eye....well now i am shocked!!!!!! what will the world come to next!!

No they don't.These sites have used their own addresses and names in the UK,all you are doing is paying for that"persons" subscription.Even on the sky contract,when you fill in the payment details no address is asked for,only bank or credit card details.As far as sky is concerned,the digibox/card is used at the UK address given on the contract.They will never know unless they come knocking at the door.They know it happens,its all over the internet, but then think how much money is coming in.If I was Murdoch I would open up more of these sites all over europe.

Thanks mate, and big thanks for who ever did my avatar. If you're wondering why it's nobbystyles instead of nobbystiles - it's because when i joined a united forum a few year's ago someone was already using nobbystiles so i went for the next best thing and have stuck with it ever since.........

thing is, when you wanna get sky abroad through one of these companies (as i did..) you need a non subsidised box. This is the only way around not plugging it into a phoneline. A non sub'd box is MUCH more expensive than a sud'b one.

Also, the twits i dealt with never passed on information they used to setup the account to me, like password, etc. So when i called sky, with caller ID off of course, and wated to make a change to my package i was made look a rigth eejit !

It has to be said that a lot of these companies sacremonger people into justifying the high prices they charge. ie, they offer to arrange PPV events for you at a steep fee. whereas you could always turn off your caller ID ...

Sky clearly wont be too bothered unless they get pressured by , say, premier to sort it out. Though of course they do toe the official line stringently about equipment being kept within UK&ROI.

was funny a few years back ... a sky travel show from Spain had the Sky bird chatting away in front of the TV in her Spanish flat ... behind her was a digibox on top of the TV !
