Help

I have just bought a Tevion 27" widescreen LCD tv from Aldi but there is only one code (696) available on interactive for Tevion and my model (GTV 2702) isn't listed .


I have tried this code but it wont work ie my sky control works the sky box but doesn't work the tv for controls like volume etc.
Has anyone got a code for this unit or perhaps any idea where I can obtain one?

You may be better looking for alternative versions of your TV, it is unlikely that Tevion is the only version of that set, there may be a code for a different manufacturer which works.

Unfortunately there are probably many of the newer flat panel TVs for which there are no codes yet.

thanx for the link phil but my control isn't on there its a standard sky control and it works fine with the sky its just the tv it doesn't work with.

Its a good idea, I would like to think that it was just "badge engineering" but before I bought the tv a spent many hours looking around the likes of dixons and currys for a better buy or even the same set but did not see the same one.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

try 0065 this is a common code that has worked on lots of tv,s for me

How old is the Digibox remote?

If you take the battery cover off and look inside for a sticky label. If it's earlier than Rev 6 then it won't accept the 4 digit codes and therefor is excluded from all the most recent TVs.

This is not a guarantee that you'll definitely find one though!
