Thumbs down Is there any way to remove the your battery's are going flat warning on sky plus?

Because for the last few months I have not been able to get rid of this message. It keeps coming up every other time I try and change channels and Is really pissing me of so much I fell like throwing the remote at the wall. I have tried loads of different batters in the remote but it still dose not go away. Is my remote playing up? And do I need a new one?

My System: Dreambox 7020 Dreambox DM500 Sky Thomsom Digibox StrongSat FTA Reciever 80cm Dish + 45cm Dish via Disecq A/B.

Is your sky remote a long distance from your sky box when you try to operate your sky box? If so this is perhaps the root of your problem.

give me money now

My System: Technomate 1500ci+ super (upstairs), Phoenix Apollo MC (downstairs) both running off a cheapo 80cm dish with a twin output monoblock 13° & 19.2°. Sky+ (downstairs) piped 'round the house.

is it still in warranty by any chance?

No its about 2 years old now. How much are sky plus remots? Ive seen the normal ones for around £15 to £20. But never see the ones for sky+ in shops.

My System: Pace 2200 Sky digibox with ftv card, Comag SL65 FTA sat receiver, 40cm Sky minidish, Setpal terrestrial receiver (for free uk tv only!).

No, there's no way.

It's prompted by high error rates in the codes signalling, which can be - but isn't necessarily - failing batteries. If you've replaced them, also try gently cleaning the windows on remote and digibox with damp cloth and washing up liquid. Also, just possibly but very unlikely, either the remote tx or receiver rx diodes are failing.
