Pace 2500

Hi to day I got a new but old model Pace BSkyB 2500 model 7 years old receiver and it is searching all the time but no channels are on to day its the first time to be used

My System: 1200cc with 100,000,000,000 neurons and 100,000,000,000,000 connections

If it has been 7 years since it was used then you will need to try and update the software.

Before doing so make sure you have a good signal (signal test in the services menu) – anything over 50% for the quality should be fine.

Turn the power to the box off, hold in the backup button on the box and (while still holding the button in) turn the power on. Keep holding the backup button untill all the lights have come on.

Check the software version (services > system details) before and after to see if it changed.

My System: sky digital, 8Mb broadband

3.4.4 i think, summat like that. can't be certain without looking, and my 2500 is in use at the moment!
