I see the Irish version on 10.714 & 10.729 are now active

TTon4 has now no sound. To get Channel4 and channel4 +1 put these details into your sky box.

Services
No. 4 System setup
No. 4 Add channels
12480, V, 27.5, 2/3, Find channels
Store the new Channel4, etc etc
Press select to store

Now you will have Channel 4 back under Services, other channels

This morning whilst measuring signal parameters on transponder 40 (12.480v), it’s been noted that TTon4 has no Vpids/Apids showing.

It appears from a re-scan of the above transponder that TTon4 has gone (the tag is still showing).
At this time I believe Ch4 London & Ch4+1 are at FTV level encryption.
More4/E4 family - a minimum subs subscription required ... and tag 12005 BB feed is NDS flagged.

12005 seen on a standard receiver, not a digibox.

Select channel 503, BBC News.

Press text.

Key in 3001 and press Select.

This should give you access to any interactive channels.

Note these channels only have content occasionally, but when active show sport and events such as Proms, live concerts and special programmes.
In my experience that only works for Sport (3001 is the sports mosaic). There is no "back door" into proms, eurovision sing along etc. I would like to know it if there is.

BTW, for Spanish expats, Leroy Merlin are now selling a very basic FTA receiver for €39,99 which will receive them all anyway.

The C5 family of channels are on the point of leaving Astra 2C 10964H. Their new home will be Astra 2A south beam 12422H 27500 2/3 encoded in Videoguard as usual.

10964H Astra 2C switch off is imminent - 2C is moving to 31.5E in a few days. The AstraVision test channel was switched off earlier today

I use the manhatten sky satellite receiver box after a blind search it picks up all the variations of channels I live on the fringe of the astra 2D beam in slovakia to watch all my channels this box works well it is especially design for to watch low symbol rate channels such as bbc itv etc and my sky viewing card well free to air viewing card works straight away when you put it in the box no need for pairing up of the sky viewing card to a sky digi box.

Many thanks for that info. Just remind me, what is the difference between FTV and FTA, which needs a SKY card??

FTA programming is unencrypted (clear), no card required. FTV requires a sky viewing card and is encrypted.

The C5 Wales sub region moved to Astra 2D on August 18th. Anyone with a Welsh card will lose the channel if you dont have access to 2D

No.

The list was recently updated and is current.

If you cant get Astra 2D then you have to do without those channels.

If you want them either put up a bigger dish or move west

Something strange is going on with the C4 variants on 12480V. Numerous folk in the Canaries and that general area have lost C4!

Please see this thread for more info:

No Channel 4 in Fuerteventura on 12480V

I'll leave the main list as it is for now until the situation becomes clearer.
