My System: sky+HD multiroom Thompson box
loss of audio on some channels

Hi

I have a Thompson sky+ HD box in one room and a grundig sky box with multiroom in another. Everything was fine till Sunday night when the audio on certain channels disappeared on the main sky plus box. chs 1;2;4 are fine but 3 and 5 are not. Channel 148 works fine for example but 150 does not. The picture on the channels without sound is perfect. On the second box all channels are fine with sound and all. Any ideas?? Thank you

My System: Sky Plus V3 TDS 470n, Pace 2600CI, Thomson Sky HD, Technomate 1000D, Prodelin 1.8m dish + Invacom Quad C120, CM feed, Lacuna/Wolsey V3 meter

Have you re- booted the Thomson box by pulling out the power cord?
Try then planner rebuild.
Loss of sound is usually poorly fitting scart cable, but your Thomson should be using HDMI.
If you are using HDMI, try connecting a scart cable to see if it's the same, or using the RF output to see if sound is present.
If you have no sound using these alternative methods, there's something up with the Thomson.

Thanks, but HDMI does not seem to work and as it is only some of the channels I can't think that it is the box. Oh well will probably have to get engineer in
