My System: 4 systems. In Scotland Sky with Pace 2600C1. In Costa del Sol 1.3 meter offset with Inv quad 0.3 LNB with pace 2600C1. In Algarve 1.5 fixed Inv Quad LNB with 4 Pace 2600C1 also 80cm dish with Inverto 0.2db monoblock LNB 4.8E/1W and TM_5400C1+ USB

I am in the CDS and I use a 1.3 meter dish(I was told and I don't know make) an Invacom quad LNB and Pace 2600C1 receiver. I get 24/7 all channels except on rainy days. As I have recommended this set up to all my friends most of them have similar and we all get 24/7 reception. The box seems to have a large effect.

Steel or aluminium? How would you rate them for signal strength compared to the Famaval 1.4m. Also how would you rate the Famaval 1.8m compared to Gibertini 1.5m for signal?

Thanks for your response, its great to hear from someone who is actually down here.

Ive tried to get the Pace 2600 but only have two Pace 420's.

I will look into the Invacom quad if I can find it near Gib!!!

As I mentioned earlier about the dish we all have the same ones from tarifa to Granada. the same 1.3 (ok 1.2m) dish

If I cant get an Invacom for less than €100 can someone please reconmend anything else!!!!!

Is someone using something else??? of the CDS!!!

thanks

A Gibertini 1.2m has almost the same performance as a Famaval 1.4m prime focus. (actual reflector size of Famaval is 1.33m x 1.33m) Gain figure for the Famaval is very slightly higher, you'd hardly notice.
Famaval also sell a '1.3m' offset dish which is identical to the Gibertini 1.2m in gain.
Famaval are also known as 'Portugese' and are sold by Tecatel under their own brand name. Both Gibertini and Famaval dishes are aluminium.
The Famaval 1.8m prime focus (1.79m x 1.79m) does have a higher gain than a 1.5m Gibertini as it has a much larger surface area. It is also known as a 'Portugese 1.9m' on the costas in Spain.
Famaval prime focus dishes should never be fitted with standard one- piece LNBs, C120 LNBs are essential.
Beware of the way dishes are sold in Spain & Portugal. Dealers and installers always exaggerate the dimensions.

I've just bought a Gibertini 1.5m and a QDF-031. Now I just need a feed horn. Starting to get exited.

By the way Gibertini do steel and Aluminium.

although some of us dont! have a bit of fun sometimes when people ask for a 1.9 and i say to them that there is no such thing as a 1.9 - just a 1.8..

and being really picky the 2.4s are actually 2.3's!!!

Veo el paquete kidsy entertaimente y sports.

Quiero conseguir veer LOs canales Disney.10862h 22000,5/6

I've asked after reading a Invacom QDF-o31 an feedhorn and Invacom quad.
No one knew if it was compatible with masterchannel LNB.
I have a dish of 135cm I think that focus and a polar-Pace 2600c1
I see the package kidsy entertaimente and sports.

I get channels Disney.10862h veer 22000.5 / 6
For my children and I see 1800 to 2200 pixels.
I do not cbbcy BBC2 and bbc3.

1 If I get the Invacom feedhorn and can replace or is there more to make a new tuning of the dish?
2nd The mejorare if I have an Invacom twin ahiora without feedhorn '
3 As far as I can get watching, BBC2, bbc3, cbebies?
4th I have to change anything?
Thanks

Hola Andrex,
Si no, no va a funccionar bien. ¿Qué antena tienes (la marca)? ¿Es de foco primario o offset? Una foto nos ayudaría.

Its very important that the feedhorn corresponds exactly with the dish. If not it won't work properly. What dish do you have (the make)? Is it prime focus or offset? A photo might help us.

I think you are saying you have a ChannelMaster dish. In this case, a ChannelMaster feedhorn is exactly compatible, as it is normally supplied with this dish by the manufacturer. The Invacom Quad QDF-031 is the best possible LNB to buy for your dish.
If you change over from your existing LNB you will not have to alter anything. The fittings supplied with the feedhorn fit the dish exactly in the right point of focus. You just have to rotate the LNB and feedhorn clockwise, looking at the dish, by 24 degrees. There is a scale on the feedhorn in 10 degree segments. Turn it so that the position between the second and third markings on the left are towards the top. This will give the correct turn, or'skew' for your location in Spain.

My System: 1.35 mts lndb invacom qdf-031 feedhorn invacom

Gracias

Thank you all.
I think the primary focus is parabolic,, osea no one gets the LNB arm pra but three come together in the center.
The brand makes no, not in the bill.
Only that is 135 cm.
Now with the twin LNB Invacom feedhorn and Disney channels from 19.00 am to 20.30.
Thanks Smilies

The Channel Master feedhorn is only for offset dishes, not prime focus. Your dish must already have a feedhorn that you can use in conjunction with the Invacom LNB.

Today has been the enginering to get the 031qdf Lnb Invacom feedhorn and ... me and says my parabolica is not offset and polar focus and therefore not worth it.
Can I reuse the LNB or feedhorn?
What lnb for the dish if it is offset?
Correspond with the Invacom qdh031 '
If I change that by 031Qdf will it work?
Thanks
¿Offset the plates are flat?

Gracias
¿los platos offset son más planos??

Andrex, what feedhorn did you buy? If it is an Andrew's then it is correct for your offset dish. If the satellite guy says different he is a cowboy. By the way that LNB costs less than 60€ to buy in Spain.

Got to say the concrete bases really fascinate me. Don't dig a hole. Put red brick surround. Put groundstand inside the brick surround and then pour concrete on top of the groundstand so it is encased. Lovely!
