viewing card help....

Hi everone,

I wondered if anyone could help...

What is the diference in the channels i would receive between:

1. Removing my viewing card.

2. Ringing Sky and telling them that i no longer want to subscribe and leaving my "old" viewing card in the Sky box (won't be able to put the "new" on in as no longer in the UK).

3. Getting hold of a Sky "free view card"

Apreciate your help...

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

An expired Sky card or an ftv card gives you the same additional channels:

Sky 3
C5
Fiver / +1
Five USA / +1
Setanta Sports News (for however long Setanta lasts)

correctly regionalised ITV & BBC

C4 HD on an HD box

My System: Dreambox 7020si, Technomate TM600, Technomate TM9100 Fracarro Penta 85 Dish, Televes 0.6dB Quad lnb, TM SG2200 motor. 60cm Channel Master BSB dish on 28e, Mti Blueline 0.2db Twin Lnb. Rover ST-4 Meter Cyfra+ Subscription

I would wait until you get your new white Sky card before you cancel.

The old blue yellow house cards will probably cease to function once the card swap out has finished
