Talking Coming to a 2B south tp near you soon.....

To all our expats in the Canary Islands and surrounding areas I give you ITV1 +1

Five ITV1 +1 regions are currently epg testing on 11972V:

7450 - Central
7455 - South East
7560 - Granada/Border
7565 - West/Wales
7570 - Yorkshire/Tyne Tees

These havent started full trade testing yet so dont expect any piccies for a few days - atm its just epg info.. (It could be the last week of September before full tests start - we expect ITV1 +1 to launch on October 1st.)

These channels will NOT be fta - they will almost certainly be encrypted to ftv level.

Lol - sadly my magic incantations dont seem to work on Channel 4. However, sources says he will see if he can find out exactly what happened to trigger the change

Must be tagged of some sort as not available on two generic receivers including spectrum analyser.

Edit: Just seen it's EPG testing, that'll possibly be why

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Yes, nothing detectable at present - but would they be "on air" full-time anyway, during the Testing phase?

Does this signify a new lease of life for freesatfromsky then?

And another question.... There were rumours that ITV2, 3 & 4 (and their +1 versions) would be becoming part of the SKY package soon. Given that ITV have taken space on this TP is it likely that these channels will also end up there?

And I wonder ... could this be the first nail in freesat's coffin?
