Pace posts loss and warns of contract delays

Pace Micro Technology, the maker of set-top boxes for BSkyB and other pay-TV groups, said yesterday that costly delays in contracts with US broadcasters could carry on into this year.
Shares in the company fell 6.5% to 57p as it warned that "a number of risks" remained in completing the deals with the cable operator Comcast and the satellite broadcaster DirecTV.

Pace issued the warning as it slipped into a pre-tax loss of £8.9m in the six months to December 3, partly due to problems with the US contracts. The company added that revenues from Britain - its largest market - would fall this year.

Wish I'd bought shares in Pace when they moved from modems to STB's - and sold them when they were sky-high

And last year they mentioned product development in the medical profession.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
