Hi wisebird
Where are you located in the middle east?
If in Jordan, I'll be more than pleased to help.

Regards

I'm in Alexandria, Egypt North Coast on the Med

I pick up most of the channels on a 2.8m dish here - but can't pick up the 2D beam (BBC / ITV)

There are ways I could, but its dependent on cost - you'll need to let us know where you're going.

Cheers

Richard

Sorry Zorba I'm not at the house until Sunday so I can't check the name, but its a solid prime focus - and its a 2.4m dish - not 2.8! couldn't remember the other day - dish, I'm sure its locally made.

One of the reasons for its apparent cheapness is the devaluation of the Egyptian currency - everything is virtually half the price (in UK terms) as it was a year / 18 months ago - EXCEPT BEER - but even thats a lot cheaper.

The lnb is an "Astra 0.5dB" - i have no info on it - just that I got a better quality signal (pick up Ch4) from this lnb than the 0.3 invacom I brought here from the UK (picture break up on Ch4)

Cheers
