My System: Standard Sky Plus HD box
- what are the ways I can watch ITV HD on FreeSat? (I have a SkyHD box)

I have a bog standard Sky HD box that I bought mainly to watch sport in HD. (My TV has Freeview if that's at all useful or relevant.) It really annoys me that ITV transmit HD football, but only on FreeSat: also, that their regular picture is so rubbish.

I understand that it would be possible to run another cable into my house from my existing dish, (again, standard size I'd imagine), into a FreeSat box and onto my TV. This seems like a costly exercise although I don't mind spending some money.

Is there only the one costly way of doing this, because, unless I somehow involve my Sky HD box in the process, I can't see any way of recording a FreeSat programme.

Thanks for any help you can give me

All Freesat branded HD Boxes will indeed get ITV HD, and a fair few generic HD Receivers can too.

There is a Freesat HD PVR, but it is around £300.

To be frank, you aren't missing a lot as there is very little shown on ITV HD presently.
