New Sky+ HD TV Guide

I've just upgraded my Sky+ sky digital receiver to a Samsung Sky+ HD receiver. I brought the Sky+ HD box off Ebay because wanted over 3 months before they could get around to upgrading me.

Anyway I was under the impression that to receive the Sky HD channels you needed to pay the £10 extra per month? But I've put my existing sky viewing card in to the new HD box and it clears BBC HD & Channel 4 HD is this normal? As I don’t subscribe to the movies & Sport I can't see the point in paying £10 extra per month just for Sky 1 HD.

So my question is the new HD box is showing the old sky style TV Guide is this because its not received the new updated software download yet or because I don’t subscribe to the HD package ?

Thanks
Chris.

Like you I do not pay the supplement of £10, but get bbc1 and Channel 4 in HD.
Our EPG system was updated yesterday - and all the programmes set to record yesterday show as failed or clashed.

Have others had this problem?
