Which second hand sky HD box?

Hi

As the title states i am planning on buying a second hand sky HD box, are there any to avoid? which are the most reliable?

I read lot about faulty boxes seem to be mainly thompson, are these that bad?

My System: Skydigibox, AB IPBox 9000HD, DM8000

I've just bought a Pace HD box with the latest software and epg which means you can watch ITV, BBC & Channel 4 HD with a freesat from Sky card (£20). I got a Pace because I've had a Pace freview twin turner recorder for years and had no major problems with it. Some Pace boxs were the subject to a recall so check that out before you buy.

My System: pace hd 9F3004. fitted with a 65cm triax solid dish. beko 32WLA520HD 32" lcd tv .

pace tns 850 are the best so quiet and fast epg and samsung are the must have thomson are a no no thats why there are so many on Ebay so beware . hope that helps
