No DolbyDigital 5.1 Sound

Hello,

I've got the Thomson-Sky-HD-Box and the Sony BDV-IT1000. The problem is, I can't get DolbySurround/Sound via HDMI. So I tried a optical audio cable, but no surround either.

The DD playing a DVD or BD is perfect!

What can I do??

have you enabled it in the menu? You also can not get 5.1 from HDMI on the Sky HD Box, only through optical.

have you selected the optical setting on your s sound system .. in source etc ..

is their also dolby setting in the audio menu.on the new guide ,, best of luck it should work
