My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

The yellow UK cards will probably cease operating at the end of September / beginning of October.

No need to send them back - they will just stop operating when CAID 0961 stops being transmitted.

First you need to order a subscription, which is going to be very difficult because you don't live in Italy.
Second, if you manage to order a subscription, you would pay for a whole year in advance.

I know some shops sell pre-paid card with these options mondo+sport or mondo+sport+calcio.
I found one seller who offer me Sky Italia Full packages with HD channels - HD reciver and month payment with bank card (I dont know yet which card Visa or Master) with price like in Italy 69 euro every month for mondo+sport+calcio+cinema. Every month Sky Italia will withdraw money from card. Also He offer me that I can also get option channels - like milan, juve, inter..... and also Seria B for 99 euro.

Sounds fishy to me. Don't order unless you have full information about this seller and his full name and actual physical address.
Is he in Italy or another country?
But if he turns out to be legitimate, then many members might be interested.
My advise is to buy the prepaid card from the well known websites.
Good luck

Be careful here m8, the costs look too good to be true, they're too low! Either there are other charges you haven't mentioned (like an administration fee) or you may be giving your credit card number to a conman.
The price you're paying is the price here in Italy, it doesn't make sense that the guy isn't charging a fee.

I did consider them in the past, but they couldn't offer me the movies option. Looks reliable anyway.
When I tried to make a purchase of another item, there was something that wasn't to my liking with the payment method. Don't remember what, but try to make a dummy purchase and see if everything is acceptable to you.

My System: Humax icord HD

I was communicating with tvcorner for the past two weeks, they sound reliable but they can’t offer me the HD package in one year advance payment. I’m not sure why!!

They said that my CC will be verified with sky Italia for the monthly payment if I choose the HD package. Otherwise they can offer me the full package without HD in one year advance.

I am sure that sky Italia will reject my CC as my billing address not in Italy.. so I gave up.

My System: Nothing as yet

Could someone please let me know, as a complete newbie to the satellite game, if I can use a Sky Italia card on a Dreambox or other such receiver in the UK (which I haven't bought yet)
Fortunately I have Italian ID but don't know whether it's worth subscribing to a Sky Italia package in Italia (basically only for the card) if it cannot be used in the UK. I do know it's far cheaper to subscribe in Italy rather than the extortionate prices suppliers are asking in the UK!!!
I thank you guys out there who can help me : )

Please read the Idiot Guide, post # 52
It will tell you which cards can work in the Dreambox. Looks like Sky Italia will.
If you can get the card at the Italian rate, then you would be saving a lot of money.
Why don't you buy also a Sky Italia receiver? It should be very cheap there too as it is just a simple receiver produced by the millions.
This way you can start enjoying the package until you get the Dreambox setup working.

My System: Dream Box 8000 500 GB Samsung HDD Sony DVD

Interesting thread. very painful to get this card for a decent price.

I saw a seller on Ebay.uk and he offered me a year for Mondo+cinema for Euro 590. That is the best I found around. Paid with Paypal.

Is it for real? I don't know yet. once I get the card I can share my experience here.
For now I wish someone can help me in my thread in this section.
