how long does sky italia take to activate?

Hi guys

Hope someone can help

I purchased ky italia and took delivery on Sept 8th but have only just had it installed yesterday

1) Does anyone know how long it takes to activate the card and is it likely to need refreshing due to time of delivery to time of installation?

2) Is it possible to change the italian menus into english?

I have spoken to my supplier who in turn said it would take 24 hours due to him emailing sky italia who would need to refresh the card.
He also said to leave box on channel 109 and i will come on by itself?

Does anyone know whether this is right???

The card updates well on the fox channel leave it on that channel mine came on within an hour

in order to change the language to english you just press the i button on the remote then if it carries dual signal you can choose from inglese or italiano most film and sports channels carry english
