Alternative to FREESAT

Has anyone experience of the ARION 9400 or the TRIAX322 Sat PVRS, if so how many days will the EPG let you set to record off, is it now and next?

FREESAT should be open to all manufacturers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Only now and next as far as I know. Not many manufacturers would wish to tie their receivers into a restrictive dedicated operating system like Freesat.

There is a fellow (Formerly connected with a failed minority Broadcaster and more recently better remembered as a failed Litigant) inhabiting another Board who, in one of his guises, keeps trying to promote an alleged "new" Platform that makes use of Freesat EPG Data and will have flexibility to accommodate Pay TV as well.

Seeing is believing ......................... I'm in "Raptures" just thinking about it.

That would be interesting, although I guess that there would be some sort of licence to pay.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Of course if the broadcasters could be persuaded to transmit a full week epg info like some of the German broadcasters do, there wouldnt be any need for "platform epgs" You could use any receiver or pvr you wanted to.

Have to admit I do enjoy having a sly dig at Mr Rapture about his hopeless channel at any opportunity

Analoguesat's message to the world
Analogue forever!
