My System: sky hd box, no subscripton, 3mtr sat dish, | hi, not sure if this is the correct section for this, sorry, i am currently in the uk, my wife is at home in cyprus, she called me to say the sky hd plus box was on standby when she got up 2 days ago, usually thats because of an update overnight, since that happened she has not been able to get a signal, she unplugged the box for 10 minutes etc, tried to go into (this is from memory now) services setup 01 select, 4 selcect, 2 select etc put in new default transponder save settings etc which is what we usually do and everything is fine, sorry to waffle, but this time she says that all the menu screens have changed and are completely different and she cant figure out how to get it back working again, even the neighbours cant figure it out, does anyone know about the new screens for setting it up and can you talk me through it so i can relay it to my wife? many thanks | ||

| You are not alone apparently Many boxes have suffered since the upgrades started. Problems include reception of certain channels, missing parts of the EPG, recording failures, and a missing volume control. There are others but some are specific to the make and model of the box. | ||

My System: Sky HD Medion Laptop | I have posted on here myself because I have the same problem. I cancel Sky in March, but subscribed to Setanta, which I now cannot receive. Sky support denied they had updated a non subsciber and said they could not help. I have email their CEO and complained. I have also emailed Setanta, because they surely won't want me to cancel with them due to Sky's failure and/or unwillingness to correct the problem. Anyone else ? | ||

| Just seen some reports of the last EPG upgrade affecting Sky/interactive services, remote eye operation and (wait for it), tone switching. The last anomaly might well be the cause loss of channels. | ||
