Sky+ engineer menus

What are these hidden 'magic' engineer menus of which these Ebayers speak? Ebay.co.uk/FAULTY-SKY-PLUS-HD-BOX-THIS-WILL-FIX-IT-100-GUARANTEED_W0QQitemZ270369122201QQihZ017QQcategoryZ102485QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem" target="_blank">http://cgi.Ebay.co.uk/FAULTY-SKY-PLU...QQcmdZViewItem

Is it just holding the backup button to do a software update? I personally would be very interested to know all the tricks if there are any hidden in the menus. Ive got my first Plus box still that wont come out of standby, except to do a software update when you hold the backup button down. If theres a way of making it work I will pass it on to someone else rather than binning it.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Some skanky chancers will try and sell anything on Ebay and the sad thing is that people falll for it buy from them.
