My System: sky, but want second for free to air
Sky +recording problems

Having some issues with the playback of recorded programs. The recordings are breaking up both in picture quality and sound. Oddly seem worse on channel 5, have been recording 5th Gear. Motors TV also seems to be suffering.

Any ideas?

My System: pace hd 9F3004. fitted with a 65cm triax solid dish. beko 32WLA520HD 32" lcd tv .
Thumbs up

have you checked your signal meter in the services ?
does the recording break up on the sky card channels ?
does it happen on anytime tv ?
and what make sky box do you have ?
chances its down to the weather or your dish

all i do is a system reset which is
turn box off at mains
hold down left and right channel buttons on front panal only
turn mains on
when the play light comes on
press select on front panel only

this will wipe the full hard drive you will lose all recordings and anytime tv but cures about 80% off boxes
