Hello

Welcome to the forum hulltoon

Well it seems like you have already been reading lots of info and to be honest having done what you say I cannot think of anything else to be done, from what you have done it seems to be an stb fault as the fault stayed with the port 2

Perhaps not as much reading as I thought stb = set top box

I have to say though I do not understand how it could be working successfully if you are watching the same channel it is still using the tuner that appears to have a fault to record, do you definitely have two separate feeds for the stb?

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Multiroom makes no difference, the LNB swap around proves that there is likely to be a problem with the second tuner, but to make sure, have a look at the "F" connectors and make sure that the cores are long enough to make full contact. If they are screw connectors, they are prone to coming unscrewed when installing.

See, you're learning the lingo quite easily. You be splashing some more TLAs (three letter acronyms) soon with the best of them!

What model is your box? (Check here: _http://stuckinstandby.co.cc/index.php/how-to-identify-your-sky-plus-box)

I don't suppose it's an Amstrad DRX280?

Sounds quite like the problem in this thread:
Problem with DRX280 Amstrad.

Never did work out a fix.

Few things to try to locate the fault.

Is your multi room a sky + STB if so swap them around and see if you have the same problem on the STB.

You say you have tried a reset but how did you do this?
You need to power up your STB holding in the backup button untill it says upgrading or installing this will install the latest software on your STB.
