Hi, have just upgraded my HDD to Samsung HA250JC and would like confirmation on where the jumper should be. On the old drive it was on the second set of pins (which on label says Enable cable select) looking at the piece of paper it looks like on the new drive the jumper should be on the third set of pins (L to R). Is this correct? All seemed to work on this jumper setting, but as soon as I plugged to the mains the fan came on at full speed and wont go off. Previously the fan never seemed to come on (the two heat sinks near fan getting v. hot). Any ideas? Thanks | ||
