Viewing Card

Hi,

We live in Southern Spain near Malaga,use a Panasonic digibox witha 1.2 metre dish,and receive BBC 1/2/3,ITV,C4,C5 without any problems at all. Last night we had the following message on the screen-:

For Your Info

Your viewing of this channel will soon cease.

Please ring 08702 430604

That eventually appeared on all channels,even Sky News,501.

I had my sister call the number as the viewing card is registered in her name in the UK,Sky informed her that the ITV,C4,C5 will be discontinued unless we subscribe to the minimum package,£12.50/month.

We have friends with the same system,5 different people in all,and they seem OK.

Can anyone provide information what we need to do?

You must have one of the old FTV cards Paul, these will stop working probably later this month, if your friends have the newer versions darker blue with the yellow house on the front, they will be OK. See This Thread for more information.
