Site Sponsors Promotion

I am sure that all members are grateful to our site sponsors for giving the website and forum their support by sponsoring.

I will try here to make few suggestions so that we can all participate in promoting them so that they will see more orders from the members, their friends and relatives.

1 - Starting with the website itself.
Their URL link is not always shown since it only appears in the left site navigation and in the home page, and it is not eye catching being in the middle of the bar. It would help to have them underneath the Home button or as far at the top as possible. A different distiguishing colour, even flashing might also help.

2 - Next, once the member moves away from the home page (browsing the new posts, etc.) then their link suddenly disappears.
It would help to add them on the top horizontal navigation bar as well so that they will always be seen and not only shown in the home page.
This might pause a slight problem since not only members can see the link, but I am sure that this can be sorted out, just like the CP will be shown only after login.

3 - The Site Sponsors list is very short and I don't think that there has been any shops added since I joined.
Maybe it would be possible to add more shops to the list, based on our member's feedback about their own experience with shops that they can recommend and have competitive prices.
This should include shops in other countries in Europe (Portugal, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, etc.) and not only from the UK.
I don't believe that the language would be a problem,
Perhaps one of the mod/mods can contact these shops and try to get them to be a sponsor.

4 - When I tried to check the price of several items from our sponsor's shops, I found out that they weren't so competitive.
Perhaps other products are competitive. But I only checked what I personally needed at the time.
Would it be possible to persuade them to give our members a special discount?
Perhaps using special coupons or any other sales promotion techniques.
In this case the shops shouldn't have the member's forum nickname in order to respect his privacy.
This way, when the word gets around, more members will register.

5 - To link to the site sponsors URL whenever someone ask for help on buying a product. If he can't find it there at a competitive price, then more help can be extended to him. But first he should make the effort of searching there.
