Please Iīm asking to have PM function enabled on my account to be able to privately discuss with moderators about arbitrary censorship and violation of freedom of speech in a public forum despite full compliancy to forum rules.
Thanks.

Ah but you fail to realise - forums are NOT PUBLIC - they are privately owned and the staff are fully entitled to moderate the forum in any way we see fit - which means we can remove any posts that we think contravenes our rules at any time.

If you dont like it find another forum.

Yes indeed - theres no free speech on an internet forum.

Especially where theres some not too subtle attempts to get free advertising for a service

Iīll just say a few things here as you Analoguesat donīt want to enable PMs:
-I am in no way related to them,itīs the opposite in fact.I was trying to gather info on a service and check its stability.
-you remove the discussion because itīs dubious legally, but donīt do the same on other threads regarding, for example, people buying foreign cards for Saturday premier league football to be shown in PUBS,where heavy fines have already been charged by uk courts. Why this difference?

You might not be related to them but there was a lot of suspicious activity related to that particualr thread in the last 24 hours or so. Im not going to say how we find out as that would be giving our secrets away - but lets say the admins here are bloody GOOD at their jobs..

What we actually objected to was the blatant attempts of commercial operations related to the I-905 system to get free advertising on the forum. That is not permitted under any circumstances. If someone wants to advertise their operation on the forum fair enough, but they contact Chris the owner and pay the commercial ratecard.

If you mean checking IP address,I always use VPNs to connect.

If you dont like my recent posts, you could delete them no problem, move it in another section, there was an interesting technical discussion on.Just put a firm boundary to what you dont consider advertising and i will respect it.

The boundaries are already firm- no advertising without agreement.

The trouble is, as I have seen on this and other forums, that some try to sneak an ad advert in, masquerading as a technical discussion. When this happens, often a judgment has to be made one way or the other.

You can't.

You have only just joined, you have to be a member for longer than that before you get permission.

Ok. Can You maybe this - You give me chance to send Pm to one member, get messege from him, and I will tell You when messege come, and You block my PM again. (maybe this is not fair to other member. I hope other member not for that one PM)

Pretty sure that the admin would not allow that.

You can enable your V Card in your user CP, under Edit Options, this will allow another member to access your email address.

Nope - we arent going to start faffing around with that. And if we do it for one person we would have to do it for anyone else that asked for it.
