dear admin,
would it be a good idea to put a polite list of rules for eg, thread hyjacking, using search facility, etiquete etc)above the main forum page, so you cannot help but see these every time you log on, i feel some members (usually newer one's or seldom poster's) forget and just bang in question's either on a whime or without searching) making site untidy and more difficult for others who do use search facillity.

Would be nice, but unfortunately I don't think it would really make any difference and there really is nowhere to put it.

If you consider that we delete several posts a day, asking for receiver software, in a section with a heading and description of

Forum Access or Membership Problems Only for questions about your membership, or problems with accessing the forum. Posts about anything other than this will be deleted. Seulement les questionss par rapport a votre inscription ou bien des problemes de connection avec le forum

and a sticky thread saying:

Before making a post here READ THIS This section is ONLY for questions about membership, logon or difficulties with the working of the forum. Posts about any other subjects will be deleted. It is NOT, repeat NOT for asking about keys or receiver software.

We could even put an audio file up there and some people just wouldn't listen.

No offence to the general public.... but even after reading the rules, some would go ahead and do as they will anyway.

people are like that, they come across a website that seems to have all the answers and they cant resist asking....
"how do i get free sky?"
or i get the personal message asking for me to send all the hack files i have..... wierd, i didnt know i had any?
and more to the point, why do some new users think i have?

maybe its just my warped sense of humour, but i find it amusing
