New Forum (Order) Idea

For what its worth, I had too little to do yesterday so I came up with this

The idea is straightforward. Fun goes to the top, official stuff with little traffic goes to the back of the bus (but is linked to at the top?).

Heavy on the hobby - less on the nanny ;-) and there is a mention of a 'sat receiver' within the first 600px vertical (intentional).

Oh, and there are independent RSS icons too. Rolf will love inputting all those 30+ links - hehe (don't mind helping if it has a chance).

What do think ya'll.

Mark.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I like the separation idea Mark, but if we put the "official stuff" at the bottom, then nobody will ever read any of it and surprisingly enough, we do actually want people to read it.

Not sure about the RSS feed links, could be a server drain.

Hi Chris,

A column created at this point will ripple down the whole page.
