Anyway, though I can now appreciate some of the reasons for "link limiting", as directly affecting viability etc, it's still not good. After all, we are on the Web, where links are pretty much the whole point! Tim Berners Lee invented the whole damn thing to make it much easier to find information (before which, people were going "rlogin, ftp", and generally having to find their way round multiple file structures on different operating systems.

I'm discouraged.

The point Rolf made is, this website is sponsored, so relative hit rates are important. The point I made was, this works against the Web's main feature, ie, links.

Anyway, back to cars with(out) any steering links. Moving around road by shuffling bum along seat (changes the car's centre of gravity). Doesn't the 2CV still use this method?
