Fine on the PC, but the laptop TFT screen contrast seems to give a 'sameness' of the colours used

And it seems slower, but it may be the ADSL throughput on a Saturday morning, will report later

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I'm finding that it loads more quickly, hope that this will help those using dialup.

The forum will not be full width, but the last one wasn't either CH, just checked the upload function and it isn't loading the "Browse" button, but that is something that Chris will have to do when he gets in tonight, I dare not touch it.

If you like the having the avatars down the side, you need to change an option in your User CP- http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/usercp.php

Then select- Edit Options

Then scroll down the page to- Thread Display Options

And change the setting for Postbit Layout

Change to Top to display the Avatar across the top of the post, or left for the classic look.

Very nice new look Chris,
Just one thing for us old folk with not very good memories. Sometimes when I post a thread I forget where, so I used to check profile and then go the section that I need.
How can a "featherhead" like myself find threads and replies that we are looking for

Or you can click on your username from any of your post's... and from the drop down menu select find all post's by (UserName)

Then all your post's will appear like magic.

Can also do the same for any user just by clicking the username.

Have Fun

Still love the new look Chris, and I have not got lost for ages, but the one thing that I miss from the original look is that a members location is no longer seen.
This was very helpful.

Do you mean the location in the left hand side of the panel Rob, under the join date?

Hi Rolf & Razor,
What I meant was that before it would have i.e. "Rob, South Essex"
No big deal, but it just gave an idea were a person was from.
i.e. A few weeks ago T24 said he got Sirius Nordic beam with a 45cm dish. Considering where he lives its no problem, but unless you knew him you would read his message and think christ I can't get that with my 1 metre, or what ever.
How's your Force receiver going Razor ?

Rob, the information is still there, you may have it disabled in your usercp options.

As you say Rolf I must have disabled it.
What option do I need in usercp ?
As you can see I got slighty distracted by the avatars, that one looks a bit like me but with more hair.
Will try again tomorrow, cheers.
