Forum selection

Is it just me or has anybody elselost the section near the bottom of the page where you can select and switch over to another forum subject?

Do you mean the forum jump drop down zorba?

Must confess that I don't use it, so haven't noticed the disappearance, when was it last there?

Yes thats the one.It was there yesterday when we were discussing the server problem.Then i downloaded firefox and tonight its not there.I use it a lot to jump to other forums.So you cant see it either?How do you jump to other forums?

I tend to use the one above the posts, which will take me to the main index ro main section, or the previous/next thread link at the bottom of the page for the same section. But then I tend to try and look at pretty much everything, which the average member probably doesn't.

Chris has been trying to optimise the board, he may have found that the forum jump was causing a problem, will draw his attention to this thread.

Okay thanks.Let me know if he had taken it away and if it was causing a problem.Using the one at the top of the page is not as quick,for me.
Anybody else out there have a problem with this?

Yes i did remove it yesterday. With the number of forums we have the forum quick jump selector does add a few secs to the loading of the page. The site does appear to be loading much quicker again so maybe we could reactivate it.
