Can you demote Feedster whilst still giving that account access to the subforum so that I can ignore "it" please?

I search on posts since last visit - and all the RSS incoming threads are there.

I'd say Feedster can still have write permission into the forum and be demoted to a normal poster - then I can ignore those threads as they won't feature on my search.

I don't subscribe to any threads or forums

They shouldn't be there, as Chris disabled them in the navbar search URLs.

I have however taken them off the search index.
