![]() | Found this guide by foxym, My Didem_How to info ‘Didem’--_How to Information The following information is a ‘How to_Didem card’ based on my own guide, It is how i achieve the updating of the card with an OS 1.07 when needed. This may vary from different applications etc….and may not work for everyone. It is for educational purpose only and no other reason!!!!!! I am using the Cas3 programmer_v7.4 and in Phoenix 3.579mhz mode as follows: 1.Start the Cas3 with the serial lead connected to either com1,2,3,4 etc.. ‘Don’t put the card in yet’ I use com2 2. Go to the utilities tab and click it will bring you to an onscreen options click Phoenix, then choose phoenix mode 3.579mhz and click the ‘Hide button’ as this will put phoenix mode on the task bar!!!! 3. Now you are ready to update the Didem card.. 4. Now insert the Didem card into the top slot of the cas3 chip facing downwards. 5. Open the recent Didem files and double click the DidemLoader101 6. Now you see the DidemLoader101 programme open.. 7. Select the com port, 1,2,3,4, 8. Make sure the card is in the programmer(Cas3) 9. Press ‘Restore’ tab and you should see/or get the message: Reader/Port: Com2 Restoring Didem OS....RET 9001 Finished OK.. 10. Load the file eg, (sat 3*3c.dcc)depending the compatibility of your receiver???? 11. Press start and you should get the message: Processing Application File...... Scanning OK.... Checking Card Reset Programming Card ......RESET READY!! FINISHED OK.... 12. Take the card out and close the application down, you should now have the card updated!!!!!! 13. Also come out of Phoenix mode and close the Cas3 programmer.... 14. Job done!!!! This may vary from programmer to programmer but as I have said earlier this is how I DO IT and works ok.But use it as a guide line only as it may not work for you.... as we or I say, ‘you know what I mean’.... | ||
